Does the Bible Really Mean What It Says?

I have had encounters with pastors who in the course of our Bible discussion would say something to the affect,

“I know that’s what it says, but that’s not really what it means.”

The Bible says what it means and means what is says. Anyone who reads the Bible enough will have most of their questions answered and will know the correct interpretation — IF they read with an honest, seeking heart, and are willing to change their beliefs and behaviors in accordance to what they discover within the Living, Breathing Word of Almighty God.

We will be posting Scripture sets for various subjects in the Bible, from one end of the book to another. Choose a subject at the right and read with prayerful meditation.
